GoBFree private vehicles offer the convenience of an automobile, the speed of a small airplane, and the energy efficiency and capacity of mass transit. They are autonomous or under driver control to local destinations, then connect to an overhead rail to fly above congestion at 100+ mph while drivers relax, work, or even sleep. While automobiles would have to be modified with a stronger roof and rail attachment device, many existing car companies could adapt the technology.
